Sairan metro station — Almaty
Sairan is a shallow station in the Bostandyk district, beneath the roadway of Abay Avenue between Brusilovsky Street and Tlendiyev Street. The platform lies at a depth of 16 metres.
The station is a three-span, column-type structure, with an island platform 15.2 metres wide and a boarding platform 110.3 metres long. It has two underground concourses at the ends of the platform, connected to it by 4-metre-high stairways.
The entrance to each concourse is organised through two ground-level pavilions; each pavilion is linked to the concourse by two escalators and a stairway between 6.8 and 8.3 metres high. This arrangement makes the station convenient for passengers on both sides of the wide Abay Avenue.
