Moskva metro station — Almaty
Moskva is a shallow station in the Auezov district, beneath the roadway of Abay Avenue between Utegen Batyr Street and Altynsarin Avenue. The platform is at a depth of 20 metres.
The station is a three-span, column-type structure, with an island platform 15.2 metres wide and 110.3 metres long. It has two underground concourses at the ends of the platform, connected to it by 4-metre-high stairways, with entrances organised through ground-level pavilions with escalators and stairs.
The load-bearing structures are designed as a spatial frame-and-brace skeleton of columns, girders and diaphragms joined by monolithic floor slabs. The station serves a large residential and commercial district in the western part of Abay Avenue.
